Mechanical
Horizontal directional drilling
A long-wearing shield of special coatings protects pipes from mechanical damage during pull-back. FiberRock® is a UV-curing laminate of resins, fibreglass and special fillers, proven in gravel, rock, clay and sand.
Corrosion
Corrosion protection
Special coatings with FiberRock® are a very effective and economical way to protect underground pipes and transmission systems in water. Glass-fibre reinforced coatings on underground oil and gas tanks have been effective for over 40 years.

Systems we supply and apply
UV-curing mat
FiberTec® PPS
A flexible, pre-preg polyester mat of resins, fibreglass and special fillers. After curing with UV light it gives high impact protection of the PE/PP coating during HDD. Easy to process on location: a cutting table, a knife and daylight or UV lamps are all it takes.
Machine-applied
FiberRock® PPS
A two-component glass-reinforced polyester system applied to the pipe by machine. Higher percentages of glass fibre and long-wearing filler, and a material thickness that is easily adapted — tailored to every single HDD, especially tough and long drillings in rock and gravel.
Field joint coating
Canusa-CPS
Heat-shrinkable sleeves, liquid epoxy coatings and adhesives for sealing and corrosion protection of pipeline joints, onshore and offshore. Together with Canusa-CPS we developed a special HDD protection kit: the TBK-65 XL.

Equipment
Induction heating
Clamp coils for heating pipe joints after welding and ring coils for pre-heating before welding — lightweight, rugged and built to the pipe diameter, coating thickness and joint length. Diesel-powered units for pipe pre-heating are also available.
