Mechanical protection
Pipes for horizontal directional drilling
During pull-back, rock, gravel and grit attack the PE/PP coating. A glass-reinforced shield takes the wear instead — machine-applied by Blue Jetty or applied in the field with FiberRock® and FiberTec® PPS.
Field joints
Weld areas and pipe joints
Shrink sleeves, the TBK-65 XL HDD kit and induction heating equipment for field joint coating, supplied and supervised on site by GRProducts.
Thermal insulation
Cryogenic lines at LNG terminals
Machine-applied insulation systems with a fire-retardant glass-reinforced laminate, for jetty lines and terminal piping down to −165 °C.
Corrosion
Underground and submerged pipes
Glass-fibre reinforced coatings as corrosion prevention for buried pipes and transmission systems in water — proven on underground tanks for over 40 years.

About
Built on decades of glass-fibre know-how
More than thirty years of research, application, engineering and development of glass-fibre reinforcement for the protection and durability of pipe products laid the foundation for what we do today.
Blue Jetty brings that experience to the pipe mill and to project sites with a mobile, containerised spray-winding unit. GRProducts supplies and applies protection systems in the field. FiberTec is the UV-curing laminate behind many of those applications.
Diverse combinations of glass fibres, resins and special fillers — together with the thickness of the applied layers — determine the technical properties. That is how every protection is tailored to the project.
